In April and May of this year governments, their donors and civil society organisations came together for the consultations on the Third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF-3)to be held in Accra September in 2008 - the Outcomes documents of those consultations are available here. The contributions from the individuals and organisations who participated have been invaluable.

Many of you said you highly appreciated the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues in your region or area of expertise. We would like to help keep this conversation going and invite you and / or others from your organisation to participate in a moderated email discussion of the Accra Agenda for Action (AAA).
The UNDP Regional Center for Asia and the Pacific (UNDP RCB) and the Asia Development Bank is launching this discussion with a focus on the Second Draft AAA (up until 9th July) and will continue the moderated discussion for the subsequent Third Draft AAA (up until 21st July) and then the Final Draft AAA (up until 2nd September and the HLF itself).

As the discussion proceeds we will post summaries of the debate on this website and disseminate the discussion to a broader Asia Pacific Aid Effectiveness Community consisting of all the participants at the Asia Pacific High Level Forum consultations. The summaries will not refer to the names of organizations, countries or individuals unless you specifically indicate willingness for this.

Anyone can initiate or join the on-going discussion so please add you comments by using the form below or sign up to receive our eNewlstter
