International aid policy is a rapidly moving field.  Donors and partner countries meet at bi-annual High-Level Forums to review their achievements and set priorities.  The OECD’s Development Assistance Committee has numerous working groups and networks developing new policies and standards.  New bodies, such as the UN Development Cooperation Forum, have been established to strengthen the international aid architecture.

This part of the Portal is designed to provide developing countries and other stakeholders with a window onto the events and processes where aid practices are debated and development policy established.  It provides brief descriptions of key events, past and future, and links through to where more information can be found.
