World leaders gather for the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness

30th November 2011 - The President of the Republic of Korea welcomed world leaders to the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness today in his opening address to the official opening ceremony.

About The Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness


Ministers from across the globe, from both developing and donor countries, government representatives, parliamentarians, civil society organisations and private sector representatives are taking part in the Fourth High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness at the Bexco convention centre in Busan, Korea, from 29 November to 1 December 2011.



Over 2000 delegates are reviewing global progress in improving the impact and value for money of development aid and make new commitments to further ensure that aid helps reduce poverty and supports progress in meeting the Millennium Development Goals.
