What is the Knowledge and Innovation Space?


At the heart of the HLF4, the Knowledge and Innovation Space showcases 95 ePosters presenting innovative ideas, tools and initiatives in development cooperation that have led to improved development outcomes.


In addition to creating opportunities for informal interaction, sharing of knowledge and good practices among HLF4 participants, the Knowledge and Innovation Space will host 28 Mini-Debates and 14 Knowledge Workshops, providing a unique opportunity to discuss in greater detail the ideas, initiatives and tools introduced in the ePosters.


Where and when is the Knowledge and Innovation Space taking place?

The Knowledge and Innovation Space will be open all day from Tuesday 29 November to Thursday 1 December 2011.


ePosters will be dispatched among the four following themes and displayed on an automatic and rotating basis.

1 = Paris Declaration Principles in action

2 = Innovative tools and technologies

3 = Partnerships for development

4 = South-South solutions


- ePoster display: in the 2nd floor lobby of Convention Hall

- Mini-Debates: in rooms 201 and 203 of Convention Hall. Room capacity is approximately 80 people.

- Knowledge Workshops: in room 202 of Convention Hall. Room capacity is approximately 60 people.

How can I attend a Mini-Debate or a Knowledge Workshop?

Mini-Debates and Knowledge Workshops are open to all HLF4 participants. Capacity is limited and seating assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
