In July 2008, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia came together under Vietnam’s chairmanship (with government, donor and civil society delegations) to peer review progress on achieving mutual accountability in aid partnerships. The initiative produced a submission to the OECD DAC and to the Third High level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Accra highlighting areas for further action at the country level. The three countries determined, under the chairmanship of Laos, to implement a second round peer review to review progress made so far and deepen it. More information on this initiative
